This attempt was a success. I switched back to Fomapan 200 and removed the Potassium Bromide from the recipe. For this attempt I went back to recipe 4, doubled the number of clove supplements, using 2 tablets rather than 1, and mixed the clove juice fresh, and used immediately. Fifth Attempt – Disaster strikes!
I made the mistake of changing too many variables for this attempt and the result was a totally undeveloped negative. The changes I made were using Ilford HP5 Plus (changed from Fomapan 200), added 1g of Potassium Bromide, and used pre-brewed clove juice that was about 3 or 4 days old.
